Who voted which way

By sex, age, race and the intersections between them. In 2026 every major network and the AP published one shared voter survey; we gather every cut each outlet released and measure change against both 2024 benchmarks (the Edison exit poll and AP VoteCast). How to read the shifts

In 2026, ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, Fox News, and the Associated Press consolidated around a single shared SSRS Voter Poll (~80,000–100,000+ voters interviewed online, by phone, by mail, and at polling places after SSRS acquired Edison Research in 2025). Shifts compare the 2026 SSRS Voter Poll against both 2024/2022 benchmarks — the traditional Edison NEP exit poll and AP VoteCast (NORC) — and average them where both exist.
Comparing 2026 against 2024 measures change from the 2024 presidential vote to the 2026 House vote (which includes both persuasion and midterm vs. presidential turnout differences); switch the baseline selector to 2022 for a midterm-to-midterm House comparison.
Small cross-tabulated subgroups (for example, a single age band within one race or area) have wider sampling margins of error, and preliminary exit-poll weights can shift by a point or two as late ballots are certified.
